Birdie, No Bogeys

Birdie: By Matt Massei, vice president of golf and club operations at Pinehurst Inc., for landing the big job as general manager of Mount Washington Resort at Bretton Woods in New Hampshire.

Massei, who played a key role in the hosting of both U.S. Opens at Pinehurst, will be reunited with Pinehurst alums Pat Corso and Ken Baer. This move is proof that nice guys do, indeed, finish first. Thanks, Matt, and good luck.
