A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 30, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 416 Third Street, Troy, N.Y., with Father Timothy Ennis serving as celebrant.
Born September 10, 1938, in Albany, N.Y., to the late Francis and Rosemary Mitchell Felten, she was a member and served on the Parish Council of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Blacksburg, Va.
Mrs. Ennis worked for many years in the finance department for the town of Blacksburg, Va., and the city of Boca Raton, Fla. She enjoyed spending time on the water, traveling, and spoiling her grandchildren.
Mrs. Ennis is survived by her husband, William Ennis; her sons, Steven D. Veit and his wife, Mary, of Pinehurst, and Douglas Veit and his wife, Tamara, of Blacksburg, Va.; her daughter, Suzanne Theresa Johnson and her husband, Dale, of Charlotte.
She is also survived by her sister, Ruth Anne Schmidt of Valrico, Fla.; and seven grandchildren, Emily, Molly, Hannah, Carly, Alyssa, Abigail, and Delanie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to FirstHealth Foundation, Pulmonary Rehab-ilitation, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
