The first open house will be held Tuesday and will include nurses and medical support staff in the area. The second one will be held Thursday for physicians of all specialties in the area. Both will be held from 5 to 8 p.m.
Invitations have been sent out, and all physicians, nurses and medical office staff are invited.
The Laser Institute of Pinehurst is staffed and owned by Drs. Kate Shattenkirk and Ofelia Melley. Both are board-certified family physicians who have now dedicated their new office to the practice of laser medicine and surgery. They said new patients are welcome by physician referral or self referral.
